One tip regarding someone like me with dual citizenship: when a USA citizen books a flight into USA, he/she needs to do that with a USA passport or check-in is blocked (because otherwise traveller needs an ESTA). Reverse is also true: when returning to UK, need to change details to UK passport or check-in is blocked (ETA). At least, that is what happened to me and the explanation I was given.

Claire and her team came through again and we had a good trip. While it was not a big issue, the ‘mid SUV’ we paid for through Avis was a normal 4 door Buick car. The Avis rep insisted it was an SUV and we did not want to fight it.
