Your calls always answered within 5 rings.
When you land in SA, you need to collect luggage, before internal flight. Coming back luggage can go straight from the internal airport, to your destination.
Both the initial service and any follow-up requirements were carried out very professionally. Thank you, Stevi.
Europecar, a nightmare on the past 2 occasions I have used. Had to wait 90 minutes to get the hire car. And then a six hour round trip to take the car back. Once again we had to wait in a queue to get the car exchanged. Poor service. Staff very unhelpful.
Thank you for assistance in booking a great holiday!
Excellent service
Roy, as usual, was the best!
A good professional job, thanks. Definitely use you again
Everything you promised for our amazing trip was delivered, we will certainly be using you again. Sebastian and Freddie were extremely helpful all through the booking process. A brilliant holiday from start to finish, thank you
The booking at the Thistle Hotel at Terminal 5 was a disaster. We would have been much better to have been booked in the hotel at Terminal 4
Big thanks to Jason, we had the best time. He always goes the extra mile for us.
Excellent service
As usual the advice, recommendations, flight seats and hotels recommended by Ash were spot on.
Fantastic delivery from Darryll who undertook research, reinforced the special occasion with all the accommodation and ensured the holiday was one to remember.
Virgin Atlantic flight was not good, not much leg room. Not sure I want to fly Virgin again.
All flights were on time with no delays
We were impressed with the service. Good communication service all the way. Well done and keep up the good work.
Very helpful and caring for individual travel arrangements.
Tell BA that their on board equipment is very much sub par. The USB sockets in all the points in our row were not working. The movie options were antiquated and mostly for Indian taste and the food, although edible, was badly prepared on the flight back from Cape Town.
Bit of a hiccup with the car hire which was booked from Skukuza in the Kruger National Park, and should have been from Nelspruit. This was with Avis and was eventually sorted out. The CPT car was hired through Enterprise and I probably would not use them again.
All went to plan on a holiday with multiple locations and countries.
Great service - everything went as planned
It’s good to know we have someone on our side while we’re travelling in case anything crops up!
John Huff never lets us down. All went very well.
Everything ran smoothly with no issues
We do all our bookings to Cape Town through Stuart. He is fantastic.
Great itinerary and enjoyed it all. It would have been helpful to have had a breakdown of the costs as the Bay Hotel seemed overpriced and I wouldn't want to stay there again. Many thanks to Roy for his help.
It was a wonderful trip - beautifully planned and everything ran like clockwork. Thank you.
All round great. And Clark is the best!
Staff were fantastic and so helpful with any query. Flights were good and the layover short enough that it just gave us a stretch of the legs - perfect!
It would be great if airlines let you arrange seats as part of the ticket purchase process.
1. Mix it up
Safaris work well with kids of all ages, but (especially without a smartphone or a tablet) they can get bored rather quickly these days. So vary up your trip with walks, kids’ activities and even horse rides in between game drives to keep each day feeling new. Poo tracking tends to be a popular choice with the little ones too.
2. Hit the beach
Mix things up even more by adding on a beach trip to your safari for the perfect accompaniment to what can be a busy schedule. Completely unwind and forget about itineraries for a few days to round off your trip somewhere kids can play and parents can relax.
3. Don’t be afraid to pay a little extra
We all like to save money where possible, but some areas of a safari experience are really worth paying that little bit more for. Your guides and vehicles for example, will make or break the highlight of your holiday and a private vehicle will ensure a more comfortable ride along the way.
4. Choose your accommodation wisely
There are many factors that come into play when choosing your camp or lodge, few more important than how suitable they are for kids. For instance, different camps offer different levels of discount for kids, making some of the seemingly more expensive camps actually cheaper for families. It’s also worth considering if you would require a larger family tent, or if you’d prefer a few separate ones.
5. There’s more to it than the Big Five
Plenty of safari-goers end up obsessing over lions and leopards, when there’s so much to enjoy and to learn too! Your guide can point out smaller creatures, plants and insects that can be just as interesting for kids and will help to stave off boredom whilst searching for more elusive animals.
6. Be prepared
There’s little worse than getting up early and setting off at the perfect time of day to be interrupted or to realise you’ve left something at the lodge. So make sure you bring your binoculars (plural – for easier sharing!) and your guide books to tick off what you’ve seen to keep everyone happy. And please make sure everyone’s been to the loo before you leave!
