Brilliant service! Everyone I dealt with was helpful, friendly and pleasant. Amy was so amazing I’ve already recommended her. Thank you for making travelling in uncertain times so pleasant.
In difficult circumstances the professionalism of Alistair and his team was exemplary. I would advise anyone to book with yourselves as quite clearly booking direct would have been a nightmare. Great communication and politeness from all of you and thank you again for getting us home.
Thank you so much to Max and team on looking after me during my travels and bringing me home safely with out a single hiccup. You are the best
Oli was really very helpful as my flight kept getting cancelled. He did a very good job getting me back
The team were absolutely amazing and supportive during my extended stay in Cape Town due to the cancellations of BA and KLM flights because of the pandemic. I am so glad I had booked through DialAFlight as I don't believe I would have been able to manage the changes that came in. I can't thank you enough for getting me home safely and being so supportive and motivated even though it must have been a nightmare for you!
I have found everyone at DialAFlight very professional particularly Harvey, who always goes the extra mile to help me and ensures that I get a good deal.
I really appreciate that you kept me updated about changes or cancellations on flights. You did your best, however the situation was beyond your control. You also kept your promise about partial refund. A very big thank you to the DialAFlight team.
Christian and his team were outstanding from start to finish with not a detail left to chance. Even when Christian wasn’t available his colleagues were briefed and supported him fully. We felt looked after at all times. I would recommend them to anyone. Excellent experience
The team at DialAFlight helped us with a tricky trip to South Africa with cancellations by various airlines.. We got stuck in South Africa and if it were not for the persistence and professional attitude by DialAFlight we would still be stuck there.
I was in South Africa and had to curtail my trip due to COVID and spoke to the 24 hour help desk. Particular thanks are due to Pauline who amended my travel plans promptly and to Leah my travel manager.
Gavin has been excellent! Plus Callum and Ted.
Good support in difficult times
A usual an excellent service and it's great to have a helpful agent at the end of the phone when flight changes are needed.
I want to thank Bruno for going the extra mile to get me back to the UK before the lockdown in South Africa. He answered all my questions and concerns. I have been using DAF for many years
Thank you so much Stafford for an amazing itinerary, hotels and locations. All jaw dropping good. Also thank you for coming up trumps when BA cancelled our return flight. Unlike some people travelling with other travel companies who were left stranded, you seamlessly re-arranged everything and kept us notified - a fantastic service in trying times!
Jerry was very helpful when we needed to come home early due to Coronavirus. When we need flights we can always rely on him.
The young man who sorted my flight was very helpful. He did a great job and luckily I got back safe during this very difficult time.
Whenever I emailed for information you always responded which was a great help and gave me peace of mind while I was trying to get back home to my family.
DialAFlight are just the best. And Ryan pulls out all the stops for us. Very many thanks
With a very difficult situation all members and especially Niall were brilliant. Flights changed and constantly keeping us informed
Thanks for very efficiently arranging to change my flight back given my decision to cut short my trip
Thanks for the professional and helpful service rendered while out in South Africa at the height of Covid 19, bringing me back safely to my family and friends
Thank you Lincoln, Luke and colleagues for all your help in getting us speedily back to the UK
Jacob was wonderful as were the other members of staff I spoke to in trying to get early flights out of South Africa. They have forged our loyalty for future bookings.
Lucas kept me up to date. Always receive an excellent service from him
So impressed with friendly and efficient service especially during this virus outbreak. App easy to use. Will be my go to booking agent from now on
Stan was an absolute star! Even my wife noticed.
Went above and beyond when our flight was cancelled
You were accessible, helpful and efficient.
1. Mix it up
Safaris work well with kids of all ages, but (especially without a smartphone or a tablet) they can get bored rather quickly these days. So vary up your trip with walks, kids’ activities and even horse rides in between game drives to keep each day feeling new. Poo tracking tends to be a popular choice with the little ones too.
2. Hit the beach
Mix things up even more by adding on a beach trip to your safari for the perfect accompaniment to what can be a busy schedule. Completely unwind and forget about itineraries for a few days to round off your trip somewhere kids can play and parents can relax.
3. Don’t be afraid to pay a little extra
We all like to save money where possible, but some areas of a safari experience are really worth paying that little bit more for. Your guides and vehicles for example, will make or break the highlight of your holiday and a private vehicle will ensure a more comfortable ride along the way.
4. Choose your accommodation wisely
There are many factors that come into play when choosing your camp or lodge, few more important than how suitable they are for kids. For instance, different camps offer different levels of discount for kids, making some of the seemingly more expensive camps actually cheaper for families. It’s also worth considering if you would require a larger family tent, or if you’d prefer a few separate ones.
5. There’s more to it than the Big Five
Plenty of safari-goers end up obsessing over lions and leopards, when there’s so much to enjoy and to learn too! Your guide can point out smaller creatures, plants and insects that can be just as interesting for kids and will help to stave off boredom whilst searching for more elusive animals.
6. Be prepared
There’s little worse than getting up early and setting off at the perfect time of day to be interrupted or to realise you’ve left something at the lodge. So make sure you bring your binoculars (plural – for easier sharing!) and your guide books to tick off what you’ve seen to keep everyone happy. And please make sure everyone’s been to the loo before you leave!
