Your calls always answered within 5 rings.
Scott has been brilliant, we have used your company every year for over 10 years.
All contact with staff was first class
DialAFlight were as superb as ever in terms of the sheer level of support we received. Hugely impressed and I'll be straight back for any long haul flights in future.
Rebecca is excellent
Absolutely brilliant service and customer care
They were great flights! It was a pity I couldn't have the choice of the food I wanted on the 2nd flight - they had run out. I will try and choose a seat nearer the front next time.
Guy Foskin is my go to person. Friendly, helpful, understanding and takes time to get to know us and our needs. Is also sharing his own adventures.
Excellent arrangements from start to finish.
Excellent service from DialAFlight. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. The service was professional and efficient. A great experience overall
Always the best.
Jamie, you're the best. Nothing is too much trouble.
We always use DialAFlight when travelling to South Africa. Booked our holiday 15 months in advance and they have been amazing throughout.
Excellent communication and assistance looking for the right flight
Travel and flight changes all went smoothly and without any pressure or hitches. Thank you again for all your expert planning on my behalf.
We had an absolutely fantastic time in South Africa, thank you! The safari and hotel accommodation were perfect. It was reassuring to know that DialAFlight were on the end of the phone if we needed help when our first flight was delayed and we thought we might miss our connecting flight.
Ewan went above and beyond sorting out an alteration to our flights as well as stepping in and dealing with a flight cancellation.Couldn’t have asked for better help and support.
Brodie was excellent -we will definitely be contacting him again.
Lee was as professional as ever- an absolute pleasure to work with. Thank you
Due to an accident our return travel plans had to be changed. Although our return travel did not require input from DialAFlight, I was impressed they called to check everything was OK when they were notified of a change to our flight.
All good - just the right amount of contact and information on the run up to the flight.
Excellent as always
Excellent service, thank you so much! I look forward to planning my next trip with you.
Great team and great service. Even had a call on the day we were flying as there was an issue at Heathrow. Very happy with Lee's service
Thank you, we are very pleased how smoothly everything went on our trip
Thank you Callum for all you have done for us over the many years. We value your skill and personal attention to detail.
Great service, thank you!
All the hotels were fabulous and we would definitely recommend them all. The safari camp and safari itself was amazing. Transfer in Cape Town wasn't very good initially as the instructions we were given for where the driver would be were not correct but pick up from the hotel was good. Overall it was a fabulous trip of a lifetime.
It’s a pleasure doing business with Jeff Lee and there’s excellent communication
The whole trip was extremely well organised as usual. Everything went like clockwork thanks to Michelle
Dale has never let us down. We would never use anyone else. We have used DialAFlight for many years. Thank you.
1. Mix it up
Safaris work well with kids of all ages, but (especially without a smartphone or a tablet) they can get bored rather quickly these days. So vary up your trip with walks, kids’ activities and even horse rides in between game drives to keep each day feeling new. Poo tracking tends to be a popular choice with the little ones too.
2. Hit the beach
Mix things up even more by adding on a beach trip to your safari for the perfect accompaniment to what can be a busy schedule. Completely unwind and forget about itineraries for a few days to round off your trip somewhere kids can play and parents can relax.
3. Don’t be afraid to pay a little extra
We all like to save money where possible, but some areas of a safari experience are really worth paying that little bit more for. Your guides and vehicles for example, will make or break the highlight of your holiday and a private vehicle will ensure a more comfortable ride along the way.
4. Choose your accommodation wisely
There are many factors that come into play when choosing your camp or lodge, few more important than how suitable they are for kids. For instance, different camps offer different levels of discount for kids, making some of the seemingly more expensive camps actually cheaper for families. It’s also worth considering if you would require a larger family tent, or if you’d prefer a few separate ones.
5. There’s more to it than the Big Five
Plenty of safari-goers end up obsessing over lions and leopards, when there’s so much to enjoy and to learn too! Your guide can point out smaller creatures, plants and insects that can be just as interesting for kids and will help to stave off boredom whilst searching for more elusive animals.
6. Be prepared
There’s little worse than getting up early and setting off at the perfect time of day to be interrupted or to realise you’ve left something at the lodge. So make sure you bring your binoculars (plural – for easier sharing!) and your guide books to tick off what you’ve seen to keep everyone happy. And please make sure everyone’s been to the loo before you leave!
