Day 1
Arrival Malaga
Spend your first night at the majestic Parador de Malaga Gibralfaro, a former castle which stands on a hill with great views over the city. Málaga is the start of the Route of the Legacy of Al-Ándalus, and its Alcazaba (citadel) is a perfect example of this heritage. Malaga is one of Andalucia’s largest and most vibrant places. Among its historical treasures are the medieval Alcazaba palace-castle, a Roman theatre and cathedral. There are also great shops here and the Picasso Museum.

Day 2
Ronda
Stunning from every angle, Ronda has been occupied by Celts, Romans and Muslims which shows in its architecture. Worth visiting here are the church of Santa María la Mayor, the minaret of San Sebastián and the House of the Giant (Casa del Gigante). Ronda is also home to what many consider to be one of the world’s most beautiful bullrings and between the city and Arcos are the picturesque collection of so-called White Villages. Overnight at the magnificent Parador de Ronda.

Day 3
Antequera
Your next night of the tour is spent at the Parador de Antequera, a stylish parador offering peace and tranquility. The unassuming town of Antequera has a history dating back almost 5,000 years which can be seen in the dolmens, Roman baths, churches,and fountains that are dotted around the town. The surrounding countryside is some of Andalucia’s most fertile, and is one of the leading regional producers of olives, asparagus and cereals.

Day 4
Antequera
A full day to discover the many delights of Antequera and the surrounding countryside. Thanks to its privileged geographical location, several civilisations have passed through Antequera leaving an interesting cultural legacy. Strolling around the historic quarter is like travelling back in time. One interesting option is to visit the churches of San Juan Bautista and San Sebastián, or discover the Moorish Alcazaba fortress. The Plaza del Coso Viejo is a traditional bullring close to the Convent.

Day 5
Carmona
Located in meadows beside the Carbones River, Carmona is known for its monuments and relics of different cultures. Churches, palaces and walls are all part of the important artistic heritage of the old quarter. One of the town's key attractions is its closeness to Andalucia’s capital city, Seville, with its famous flamenco and tapas bars. Today you can see Seville’s wonderful architecture such as the Alcázar and huge Gothic cathedral. Overnight at the Parador de Carmona.

Day 6
Cordoba
Today you discover the delights of another great Andalusian city, Cordoba. The Mesquita mosque-cathedral is one of Cordoba’s most celebrated attractions and is a wonderful example of Moorish architecture. This city of patios, hidden gardens and winding streets has a rich history of blended cultures, while the unmistakeable Arabic influence everywhere. There is also a wonderful Roman bridge. Overnight at the Parador de Cordoba.

Day 7
Cordoba
A full day to explore this fascinating city. Córdoba is blessed with a wonderful Moorish culture and heritage reflected in its monuments and sites such as the mosque/cathedral and Medina Azahara. Also of interest are the synagogue, city walls and royal stables. Good museums include the Julio Romero de Torres Museum, Archeological Museum, Bullfighting Museum (Museo Taurino) and Fine Arts Museum. And wandering through the winding streets of Córdoba is always a pleasure.

Day 8
End of Tour
Today you fascinating tour around Andalucia comes to an end. From Cordoba you begin the drive back to Malaga Aiport seeing some scenic landscapes as you travel across the hills and back to the city to catch an onward flight or begin your journey home. There is no better way to experience the real Spain than by staying at one of the state-owned paradors, which are all perfectly situated to let you make the most of your visit and see all the sights.
