This stunning resort is located on a hilltop close to the town of Porto Heli on the east coast of the Peloponnese. It offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and coastline, a private beach club in a secluded bay and easy access to the islands of Spetses and Hydra. To get here, it’s a 2.5-hour drive overland from Athens of a two-hour journey by sea on a hydrofoil from the Athenian port of Piraeus. Alternatively, guests could charter a helicopter from Athens which takes 25 minutes.

Head to the Aman Spa for a massage, facial, scrub or wrap with a traditional Greek edge. There are seven double treatment rooms, two hammams, and a hair salon that all look out onto a pretty peaceful courtyard.

Room Description

Each of the hotel’s 38 luxurious pavilions are decorated in a sleek, contemporary style featuring lots of marble, slate and wood and neutral colours, such as greys and whites. They also each have their own private swimming pool ranging in length from six to 12 metres, as well as great views across the Aegean, spacious, high-ceilinged living and sleeping areas, king beds, high-quality linens, and beautifully designed bathrooms with rain showers.

The surrounding Peloponnese offers some of the most stunning landscape on mainland Greece, so is perfect for hikers. If you’re into mountain biking, you can follow a trail to the beach club, which only takes 10 minutes, where you can then relax on the deck, swim in the sea or the pool. Alternatively, why not take a trip to the town of Porto Heli, full of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars?

The hotel’s main restaurant has a beautiful outdoor terrace perfect for a romantic al fresco lunch or dinner alongside sea views. For something more casual, head to the Living Room with its central bar – the ideal venue for a quiet aperitif or light meal, or the pool restaurant. For a sunset cocktail, the Lounge has an extensive menu, and also serves and a la carte dinner meny.
