In terms of location, it occupies a quiet spot nestled amid 20 hectares of gardens and is 5km from the famous Jemaa El-Fnaa market. To get here from the airport, it’s a 30-minute drive.

Room Description

Sleek suites and villas at the Mandarin Oriental offer an impressive modern design with a neutral décor plenty of Moroccan touches such as hand-woven rugs and cushions from Rabat. Furnishings and amenities are of a high standard and include king beds, seating areas, atmospheric lighting, and impressive bathrooms with deep-soaking baths and walk-in steam showers. Some have private plunge pools and swimming pools. Villas can sleep up to seven guests.


There are so many excellent facilities at this hotel it would be easy to spend all your time indulging in them, from the spa to the gym, to a walk in the fragrant gardens and olive groves. Out and about, it’s not far from the famous souk market, or there’s the opportunity to organise a trip into the Atlas Mountains for some hiking.


Whatever your mood, there’s a dining option for everyone at the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech. For something light while you sunbathe, the Pool Garden is open from lunch until sunset. Le Salon Berbere is an inviting space open for breakfast from 7am to 11.30am and then the rest of the day as a lounge. For traditional Moroccan dishes with a modern touch, head for Mes’Lalla which is open for dinner each night. There’s also the upmarket Ling Ling restaurant, part of the Hakkasan group, serving gourmet Chinese dishes.
