Any trip to Bavaria is magical, but this one, as the name suggests, is something special. Beginning in Munich and ending in Frankfurt, you travel around this picturesque region of Germany stopping at Berchtesgaden, where you can see the Eagle's Nest, Hitler's mountain retreat, the romantic town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, pretty Wurzburg as well as Nuremburg. Throughout the trip you meet the friendly locals and enjoy their unique hospitality.
Day 1
Arrival in Munich
On arrival at Munich airport you have a private transfer to your hotel in the city. The rest of the day and evening is free to spend at your leisure. You can discover the capital of the state of Bavaria, which is world famous for its Oktoberfest beer festival, and see lots of the sights. There is plenty to see and experience in this big city and the friendly locals will be happy to join you for a beer or two at one of the many bars and restaurants. Overnight at the Eden Hotel Wolf.

Day 2
Today you join the rest of your group for a visit to the city’s main attractions, concluding the tour at the Marienplatz square with its famous clock tower. The afternoon is free to explore at your leisure. You can go north to discover the Olympic Park of Munich, stay in the inner ring and explore the Englischer Garten, or travel to Dachau to visit the Concentration Camp Memorial Site. In the evening you are treated to a traditional Bavarian dinner.

Day 3
After breakfast start a day excursion to Berchtesgaden, a typical traditional Alpine village at the foot of Mount Watzmann. Berchtesgaden National Park is the only national alpine park in Germany and was designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1990 for the protection of its breathtaking landscape. The region’s attractions include the salt mines, and the Eagle’s Nest, once the site of Hitler’s mountain retreat, which you can visit. You can also take a boat tour on Lake Königssee. Later return to Munich.

Day 4
Rothenburg ob der Tauber - Nuremberg
·In the morning travel to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Romantic Germany. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of this lovely medieval town ending with a Schneeballen (snow ball) tasting, a pastry considered the signature dish of the area. Then travel to Nuremberg for a visit to the historic city centre and learn more about its impressive history with a tour of the castle, Gothic churches, romantic houses and peaceful squares. Overnight at the Hotel Park Plaza.

Day 5
Today you visit the Documentation Center Nazi Party Rally Ground. Still today, the gigantic remains of buildings in the southern districts of Nuremberg are a reminder of the megalomania of the National Socialist regime. Across eleven square kilometers, a monumental backdrop was to be created for the self-staging of the Nazi Party. Today the unfinished Congress Hall, houses the Documentation Center and brings World War 11 history back to life.

Day 6
Nurenberg - Frankfurt
In the morning after breakfast you leave Nuremburg and travel to Würzburg, a pretty town on the banks of the Main River. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city with one of the highlights being a visit to the stunning Residenz Palace. Then on the way to Frankfurt you stop at the Mespelbrunn Castle and learn about its history. On arrival at Frankfurt you check in to your final accommodation of the tour, the Hotel Movenpick Frankfurt City and the rest of the evening is free.

Day 7
Today your wonderful Magical Bavaria tour comes to an end. Say farewell to new found friends then possibly enjoy some more sightseeing or last minute shopping in the city before heading to the airport to catch an onward flight or begin your journey back home. Bavaria is a truly magical destination and on this comprehensive tour you see most of the famous places and sights and have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the warm hospitality of the locals.
