Overview
You'll get a wonderful insight into life in Southeast Asia and see lots of great cities on this 14 night cruise on board the fabulous liner Celebrity Millennium. Beginning in Hong Kong you sail across the South China Sea to visit Hanoi, Hue and Saigon in Vietnam, then on to Bangkok, the pulsating capital of Thailand, before ending in Singapore. Lots of tours that can be taken at every destination and five relaxing full days at sea make for the perfect holiday combination.
Day 1
Hong Kong, China
It may well be worth arriving in Hong Kong a few days before the start of the cruise so you can see all the sights. But you will have plenty of time to explore this former British colony after boarding the Celebrity Millennium before she sails. After checking in to you suite or stateroom the rest of your first day is free to go ashore and see life in this amazing destination, possibly taking one of the famous green Star Ferries across the harbour.

Day 2
Hong Kong
A full day to travel around Hong Kong either on your own or on an organised tour that can be booked on board. The Celebrity Millennium doesn't sail until the evening so you won't be pushed for time. Way more than a shopping mecca, you will be impressed by the neon lit mix of old and new where East really meets West. Hong Kong's enchanting neighbourhoods and islands offer a sensory feast and more than 70 per cent is mountains and sprawling country parks.

Day 3
At Sea
Today is the first of your five full days at sea on the cruise and a good time to get to know everything that the Celebrity Millennium has to offer as you head off to Vietnam. This grand and luxurious liner is the perfect base from which to explore worldwide destinations and when you’re not out exploring new and exotic places, take yourself on a journey of a different kind on board the ship, which was the first of the fleet to be modernised as part of the Celebrity Revolution - a 500-million dollar project..

Day 4
Hanoi, Vietnam
Choices today when your ship docks near Hanoi. You have two days here and you can spend one cruising stunning Halong Bay and the other seeing the sights in Hanoi. Halong Bay is one of Vietnam's greatest natural wonders and was designated a World Heritage site in 1994. Here towering limestone pillars and tiny islets topped by forest rise from the emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin and wind and wave eroded grottoes can be visited by small boats.

Day 5
Hanoi
Vietnam's fascinating capital city races to make up for time lost to the ravages of war. It's streets surge with scooters and all around layers of history reveal the French and Chinese occupation. Lots of places of interest to visit including the original streets of the Old Quarter and Ho Chi Minh's humble home. In Hanoi you can dine on the wild and wonderful at every corner, shop in the colourful markets and uncover an evolving arts scene.

Day 6
Hue
Today the Celebrity Millennium arrives at Hue with lots of tours to choose from. The Nguyen Dynasty founded the city in the 17th century on the banks of the Perfume River and today it remains a massive open air museum of temples, pagodas and palaces. Places of interest to visit include the famous Thien Mu Pagoda and the Covered Bridge. Alternatively today you can take a tour to the big nearby city of Danang.

Day 7
At Sea

You can wine and dine in beautifully re-imagined restaurants and lounges, including the Main Dining Room, Oceanview Café, Sunset Bar, and Rendezvous Lounge.

Day 8
Saigon
Your liner docks early at Phu My on the edge of the Mekong Delta and you have a full day to discover the many delights of Ho Chi Minh City, formerly called Saigon, which is known for its French Colonial landmarks, including Notre-Dame Cathedral and the 19th century Central Post Office. Visit the War Remnants Museum and walk among the food stalls that line the city streets, especially around the Ben Thanh Market or take a trip out to see the Cu Chi Tunnels made famous during the Vietnam War. ,

Day 9
At Sea
The third of your full days at sea as the Celebrity Millennium heads for Bangkok, the colourful capital of Thailand. Day 10
Bangkok, Thailand
Today your cruise lines arrives early at Bangkok and you have two days to explore this amazing city either on your own or on one of a number of tours - or a combination of both. Bangkok is known for ornate shrines and vibrant street life. The boat-filled Chao Phraya River feeds its network of canals, flowing past the Rattanakosin royal district, home to the opulent Grand Palace and its sacred Wat Phra Kaew Temple.

Day 11

Another day to explore this wonderful city. Near to the Grand Palace is Wat Pho Temple with an enormous reclining Buddha and, on the opposite shore, Wat Arun Temple with its steep steps and Khmer-style spire is well worth a visit. Day 14
Singapore
Today the Celebrity Millennium arrives at Singapore and you have a full day here before your farewell dinner on board in the evening. Singapore, an island city-state off southern Malaysia, is a global financial centre with a tropical climate and multicultural population. Its colonial core centres on the Padang, a cricket field since the 1830s and now flanked by grand buildings such as City Hall, with its 18 Corinthian columns.
