Just for you to note - I would not recommend the Mandarin Oriental in Muscat. Rooms huge but badly designed and furnished. Food wildly expensive and very mediocre.

There was not enough time when getting my connection flight, for my suitcase to be transferred to the next flight. I only had 30min for my connection flight and had to run all the way. Everything else was very good.
