Amanruya is a luxurious 5-star resort nestled amid a lush landscape in south-west Turkey on the northern coast of the Bodrum Peninsula in Mandalya Bay. It occupies a beautiful hillside setting overlooking the sea surrounded by pine forest and ancient olive groves and is a short drive from the bustling town of Bodrum, which has a vibrant nightlife and plenty of historical sights. To get here, it’s a 42km drive from Bodrum International Airport.
Accommodation at the resort consists of 36 pool terrace cottages, each with its own private garden and pool. They’re spacious and feature a four-poster bed, two couches, a dining table and two chairs, a writing desk, traditional Turkish charcoal fireplace, a vanity area and wardrobe. Bathrooms feature a rain shower, large bathtub, and under-floor heating. They each also have an LCD TV, internet, DVD player, iPod, hair-dryer and king bed.
The beach club nearby is the perfect place to relax, set in a cosy spot protected by a headland and shady trees where you can swim in the sea, relax and read your book or enjoy some water sports. There’s also a gym and tennis court on-site if you fancy a workout, or the hotel can organise days out to nearby towns, such as Bodrum which is full of cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and is the jumping off point for the Greek islands.
There are several unique dining options to choose from at Amanruya. The Pool Dining Pavilion serves an a la carte menu for lunch and dinner amid a formal setting; the Wine Cellar with its lofty vaulted ceiling and serene views is a great choice for a cocktail party. There’s also the Beach Club for lighter meals throughout the day.
