General
Set right on a Mediterranean beach, close to the magnificent Esterel mountain range, Les Roches Rouge is named for the stunning ochre-red rocks for which this region is renowned. With its chic Fifties Modernist design, luxurious rooms, relaxed atmosphere and excellent food, this is a perfect spot for some elegant Provencal relaxation.
Spa
At the spa you can treat yourself to a massage or beauty treatment, carried out using Esthederm products, specially designed to protect your skin from the ageing effects of the sun.
Room Description
The rooms and suites are filled with natural light and decorated with touches of orange, ochre, lemon yellow and deep blue to echo the colours of the surrounding landscape. Their design is simple and modern, with original contemporary artworks dotting the walls, and they have views of the sea or the hotel gardens. Each has a balcony, air-conditioning, sound system and a tablet with a personalised playlist and TV access.
Activities
Take a dip in the natural seawater swimming pool, or wander down to the pebble beach. There's also a heated freshwater lap pool. You could also relax in the Mediterranean garden, or enjoy something more active such as paddleboarding, kayaking, snorkelling, petanque or yoga. Catch a movie in the open-air cinema, enjoy the live music two evenings a week, or perhaps take a cooking class with the hotel chef. Beyond the hotel, you'll also find opportunities for diving, fishing, sailing, hiking, mountain biking, golf and mountain climbing.
Dining
The food at Les Roches Rouges is inspired by a 1963 cookbook, La Cuisine Provençale de la Tradition Populaire (Provencal Cuisine of Popular Tradition), by the Occitane poet René Jouveau. The inventive dishes draw on this region's rich gastronomic history and delicious local produce, while the wine list includes rosés from Provence, sparkling wines from Italy, white wines from Macedonia and Catalan reds. There's also a beach restaurant serving simple local dishes, and three bars, including a beach bar.
