Discover Australia Tour

Description

Australia is a big country, and you need plenty of time to explore it properly. And this is where this fantastic 18 day tour Down Under comes into its own. Beginning in the city of Perth on the west coast, you travel to the Red Centre visiting Alice Springs and stunning Ayers Rock. Then it's off to the west coast to the city of Cairns, gateway to the beautiful Great Barrier Reef. And after all those natural wonders you head for those two great Aussie cities - Melbourne and Sydney - to complete your grand tour of this remarkable country.

Day 1
Arrive Perth,

On arrival at Perth Airport today, you will be met by one of our tour representatives and driven to your hotel in the colorful port city of Fremantle. After time at leisure to settle in and familiarise yourself with your picturesque surrounds, enjoy a welcome reception this evening. This provides an excellent opportunity to meet your experienced tour director and learn all about what you will be seeing and doing over the next 18 days as well as getting to know your fellow travellers.

Day 2
Perth, Swan River Cruise

This morning you’ll travel by coach into Perth, the sun-blessed capital of Western Australia. During a guided sightseeing tour discover some of the city’s many highlights, including the untouched bushland, Botanic Gardens and walkways of beautiful Kings Park. Like a local you, then return to Fremantle on a leisurely cruise along the picturesque Swan River. Located at the mouth of the Swan River, Fremantle is famous for its wonderful beaches, as well as its well-preserved colonial architecture.

Day 4
Perth to Alice Springs

After breakfast you are picked up from your hotel and driven to Perth Airport for the flight to the red heart of Australia, Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. Nestled between the MacDonnell Ranges, this iconic Outback town is the geographical centre of Australia made famous by its rich pioneering history and enchanting ancient indigenous culture. A major hub in Australia’s red centre, Alice Springs also acts as the main access point for Ayers Rock (Uluru).

Day 5
