Pro Dive - 5 Day Learn to Dive Course

Description

There's no better place in the world to learn to dive, then put your new found skills to the test, than Australia's stunning Great Barrier Reef. On this five day break, which begins and ends in the tropical city of Cairns, you will spend two days scuba diving training at a diving centre pool. Then it's off to the Barrier Reef for three days of action when you can qualify as an open water diver while completing a series of descents on the spectacular reef.

Day 1
Classroom

You will be picked up at your hotel by one of the Pro Dive team to begin your course. First stop is the Dive Training Centre where you will begin two days on intensive scuba training in the special pool. Experienced instructors will help everyone from beginners to semi-experienced divers and prepare them for the reef adventure to come. In the evening you will be taken back to your hotel in Cairns.

Day 2
Classroom

It's back to school again today to make sure you are fully prepared for your open water dives. You will again be picked up at your hotel and driven to the diving centre for more instruction in the pool. You will be taught all about your scuba gear and how to use it and given a comprehensive guide to underwater safety. Then it's back to the hotel for a good night's sleep before heading out to the Great Barrier Reef the next day.

Day 3
Day 3 Onboard

Today you are again picked up from your hotel but instead of going to the diving centre pool you are taken to join fellow divers on board one of the Scubapro vessels and then it's off to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. While on the reef you take part in your four training/qualifying dives, which completes your PADI Open Water Certification. All meals are included during your two night stay on the boat.

Day 4
Day 4 Onboard

Another memorable day diving on the Outer Great Barrier Reef. After completing your four compulsory qualifying dives you are able to enjoy five more dives as a recreational diver, one of which is an adventurous night dive guided by your instructor. All these dives on the Great Barrier Reef will be truly spectacular and memorable and the highlight of your course. Tonight enjoy dinner on board and swap stories.

Day 5
Day 5 Complete PADI

Today you complete your PADI dive course and enjoy some fun dives before you are brought back to Cairns late in the afternoon and dropped off at your hotel. Tonight you are invited to join fellow passengers and crew at a local restaurant for a farewell dinner which is a memorable end to a memorable trip. This dive break makes a great add on to any holiday in Australia for anyone who has always wanted to learn to scuba dive.

No issues. All details were as agreed. Some alterations in hindsight would have improved the already excellent tour.

Donovan has great communication skills and couldn't do enough to ensure we had a stress free well scheduled trip. Highly recommend and will be booking with Donovan and his team again soon

One of the connections was very tight so we just made the connection but our baggage didn't. Qantas were very helpful and our baggage arrived on the next flight. That said, the general service from the team was impeccable and very personable and I could not have asked for more

I’ve booked with DialAFlight before and all has been good. I called other companies asking for flight prices but they were too keen to sell me bits I didn’t want and included them in my quotes. Too pushy.

Only problem we had was the second car hire in Queenstown was no where near suitable for 4 adults with 4 cases we had to upgrade by 2 sizes and pay £200 extra for just 4 day car hire

This is the third/ fourth big trip that Callum Patel has arranged for us and we rate his input and service as outstanding. Not only is he our first port of call for every holiday but will have strongly recommended him to our friends. Thank you Callum and thank you DialAFlight.

RCL must have the highest priced excursions and drinks/meals packages of any company in the cruise market and Radiance of the Seas is looking extremely tired!

We were disappointed that on our return flights we couldn't get adjacent seats despite having booked our holiday in March. We would welcome your comment about this.

Business Class Cathay was an excellent recommendation. It was also one of very few flights departing Hong Kong when the typhoon threatened on the 21st October. What luck! Thank you for such an efficient way of handling bookings.

Would not recommend flying with Silkair. Singapore Airlines fine but they use Silkair (a subsidiary ) for Cairns to Singapore. Food was rubbish and their idea of vegetarian is a few sticks of celery , two tomatoes and loads of lettuce! Sorry to whinge but DialAFlight are great and I know you appreciate honest feedback.

BA changed my flight times which caused massive problems. Marco changed us to Qantas, sorted our flights to Australia, booked all our seats and took all the stress and worry away from me. I cannot speak highly enough of DialAFlight and would certainly recommend them
