There are 147 rooms, including four suites, and a choice of doubles and single rooms, including 12 rooms in the original mansion, so something for every budget. The Guarda Real Bar & Restaurant serves traditional dishes with a twist, accompanied by an extensive wine list. From Monday to Friday it also serves a buffet lunch, which includes salads, tapas and pasta. Enjoy drinks on the outdoor terrace – try the Palácio cocktail, and the selection of cheese and homemade preserves. In true Portuguese tradition the Real Palácio offers a family brunch every Sunday; the chefs will teach your kids a few culinary tricks while you enjoy the huge choice of cheeses, cold meats, salads, pasta and risotto.
