Location Set on the southern coast of Singapore, Villa Samadhi is an attractive whitewashed old colonial residence that has been recreated as a sanctuary of heritage, nature and rustic chic surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. Tucked away in the Labrador Nature Reserve, Samadhi is only about 30 minutes’ drive from the airport but it feels like a million miles away from everyday life.
The 20 individually designed colonial-style rooms are designed to blend in perfectly with their surroundings, With dark wood furniture, polished wooden floors, and a neutral palette of restful greys, each one is different but all offer comfortable beds, free Wi-Fi and iPod docks. Te Crib rooms are a haven of comfort, situated on the ground and first floors of the main building, opening on to shuttered walkways that spans the length of the building and direct access to the gardens from the ground floor. Each one has a king sized bed, mini bar, cable and satellite TV, and Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a safe while bathrooms have hairdryers and rain showers. Sarang or ‘nest’ rooms are locate din two different parts of the resort and are designed to be self contained havens with private plunge pools. For the icing on the cake, the Luxe Sarang suite is located in a separate building, and has a private pool and separate living room
