General

Set on the banks of the Zambesi River, with stunning views, Tongabezi is a collection of elegantly furnished houses and cottages which prides itself on its exceptionally warm hospitality. The world-famous Victoria Falls are just a short drive away, as is the town of Livingstone.

Room Description

There are six Houses and five River Cottages, each sleeping two to five guests. River Cottages have high ceilings and large windows, giving them an airy feel. Each has its own outdoor deck, as well as amenities including air-conditioning, safe and WiFi, while the individually designed Houses also have luxurious touches such as open-air bathtubs.

Activities

Daily game drives, bush walks and boating trips are all complimentary, as are guided tours of the majestic Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Don't miss the chance to take a sunset cruise down the Zambesi – an unforgettable experience. Back at Tongabezi, you can relax with a refreshing dip in the plunge pool.

Dining

The food here is excellent, with a focus on fresh seasonal ingredients (many of them from the kitchen garden) and traditional Zambian cuisine. You can dine at a large communal table, on a private table on one of three open-air dining decks or even on a sampan anchored in the Zambezi River, with each course delivered by canoe!
