Situated on Diani Beach, 34km south of Mombasa, the Leopard Beach Resort enjoys prime position on one of the world's most stunning beaches. Tropical gardens drop onto white sand and the Indian Ocean with its coral barrier reef - a haven for divers. The resort offers high-quality accommodation, a choice of dining and entertainment venues and extensive sporting and leisure facilities.
Scattered throughout 25 acres of tropical gardens at Leopard Beach are 158 comfortable rooms featuring a bath, shower and bidet, air conditioning, satellite television, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, mosquito nets and a well-stocked mini-bar. There are 70 standard rooms, 20 superior garden-view rooms, 48 sea-facing superior rooms, seven suites, 10 cottages and three luxury villas.
Leopard Beach offers two floodlit tennis courts, an 18-hole golf course and a full-time 'Animation Team', organising volleyball, water polo, table tennis, gymnastics and aerobics. The in-house diving school offers a range of courses for adults and children as well as water sports, including kite surfing, kayaking and snorkelling. The Uzuri Spa and Fitness Forest offers a range of treatments and therapies, as well as a fully-equipped gym.
Guests at Leopard Beach can opt for either a full-board or half-board basis, and the day begins with a bountiful buffet breakfast. There are various a la carte options and three table-d'hôte venues are rotated throughout the week: a buffet or set-menu in the Horizon Restaurant and Terrace, al fresco dining at the Coco Beach barbecue, or an African cultural night on the Nyama Choma terrace overlooking the Indian Ocean.
