The stylish Mombo Camp in the heart of the Okavango Delta’s Moremi Game Reserve on the northern tip of Chiefs Island, is built under large, shady trees overlooking a floodplain filled with wildlife. Mombo is approximately a one-hour flight from the international airport at Maun, and is accessed by its own private bush airstrip, roughly a 30-minute drive from camp.
Mombo Camp offers nine spacious en-suite tents raised two metres from the ground, each with a long veranda, a deck, as well as indoor and outdoor showers. The rooms are elegantly appointed with luxurious fabrics and furniture, and are designed with the bathroom and two showers at one end, a large wardrobe in the middle, and a bed/living area at the opposite end equipped with a mini-bar and selections of snacks.
Mombo offers daytime game drives throughout the Moremi Game Reserve, where guests are likely to spot lion every time.
Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks and snacks at Mombo Camp’s main living, bar and dining areas set under a thatch roof.
