As the booking agent, everything was done as expected. The bad experience I had was with the airline. The flight was on schedule and we had boarded the plane only to be told to evacuate and we then had about 3.5 hours delay before taking off from London Heathrow

We were very pleased with the booking process and the range of flights and hotels offered to us. Rob Hutchings gave us the support we needed and was friendly and helpful. Our only criticism is that we were told we had pre-paid for everything but not advised that there would be additional 'destination fee/tax' imposed by the hotel at check-out. These were quite a considerable additional cost and it would have been helpful to have been made aware of them for budgeting purposes. Overall, a very positive experience.

Everything went according to plan, excellent service
Only issue was with Thrifty car hire. We had paid for several extras which included a Sat Nav. However, upon collection of our hire vehicle there was no Sat Nav provided. When we queried this with the hire company we were rudely told that this is a problem with UK visitors and that we would have to upgrade to a larger vehicle if we wanted Sat Nav. We declined as didn’t need a larger vehicle but have now incurred data roaming charges due to using mobile phones for navigation which is what we wanted to avoid.
Edward Scudder was excellent. He kept in contact to ensure everything went smoothly. When I needed it he was always there to help me.
Excellent customer service throughout, great advice to begin with and the prices on flights, car hire and hotels couldn’t be beaten.
Sadie was brilliant! Reassuring but at the same time careful not to over promise ... leaving me calm and very satisfied with the result.
