UK airspace ban extended
It has just been announced that the UK airspace ban has been extended until 1am Tuesday.

Stuck in the Caribbean. Head for New York
If you are stuck in the Caribbean and anxious to get home as soon as possible it may be worth heading for New York. Most Caribbean routes have low frequency of flights. BA and Virgin between them have just 9 flights a week into Jamaica, for example, and all flights are virtually full until the middle to the end of next week. We believe that once the skies open up again it will be easier to find availability out of New York where there are hundreds of flights a day leaving for cities all across Europe and operated by a dozen different airlines. Should UK airspace remain closed it may well be possible to fly back into southern Europe

200 travel consultants work through the weekend
We have a huge amount of sympathy with our customers stranded overseas. It's been a long weekend for us too. We have had 200 of our travel advisers manning the phones offering advice and helping to rebook flights and hotels. We have also received several thousand calls from stranded internet bookers and we have done our best to help them too.

No rebooking fees for scheduled airlines
Most scheduled airlines (e.g. BA, Virgin, Emirates) are enabling DialAFlight customers to rebook at no additional cost to you however seats on future flights are extremely limited. Policies for Charter and Low Cost airlines (e.g. Easyjet, Monarch, Thomas Cook, First Choice) vary so please call us for information.

Please contact your DialAFlight travel adviser who will do their utmost to rebook your flight or holiday to a future date. If a reasonable alternative cannot be found, we are working with our suppliers and will do everything possible to get you a full refund.
