Our original holiday was booked with someone else and 12 hours before our flight it got cancelled. We rang DialAFlight and spoke to Connie who was extremely nice and booked our new holiday for the following day within a quick time. No hassle she was so lovely and answered all of our questions! Definitely would book again and recommend to family and friends!! Thank you so much, we had the best time!
Thank you, our special holiday went like clockwork and we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel which was one of your suggestions.
Great service from everyone I spoke to. Ian mainly dealt with my holiday and went beyond the extra mile for me
Harry Clark was superb in helping book our holiday, he was very knowledgeable and ensured our holiday went exactly as planned.
Thank you so much, we had a great time!
Abbey was outstanding and couldn’t be more helpful. She spent a great deal of time getting the best possible flight after we were let down by the BA strike. She was extremely polite and patient and I would definitely recommend her for future flights
Brilliant service - everything like clockwork
Jade and Jasper are superb
DialAFlight is a trusted travel agency and we have been using John for many, many years. We respect and rely on his input to our varying travel bookings and recommend DialAFlight to anyone wanting to book a flight or holiday
Edward did a amazing job of making sure our holiday was seamless as possible despite flight cancellations
Excellent service and advice provided by Elliot for myself and my party in booking and taking care of our flights to Vegas. Great job extremely polite and on the ball.
Daniel is amazing
Ellis was helpful and friendly offering his knowledge of travel
Perfect, the support in the lead up to the holiday was amazing. Changes and additions were carried out with no problems. Access to all vouchers and info via the app as well as tracking payments was ideal
Booking worked like a charm, although a little confusing at LA airport as signs to check in once already airside were not visible and assists at airport didn’t seem to know what we had to do!
Fabulous holiday, everything was perfect
Stan was very helpful and professional as usual and we have recommended him to friends and family
Thanks to Wayne for his first class performance once again
Please don’t ever put me on a Dreamliner again. It should be called a Binliner. The most uncomfortable, noisiest flight I’ve been on. Never again.
I was really impressed with DialAFlight. Prior to booking I visited two high street travel agents and was quoted higher for the same holiday. I was therefore impressed with the price. It was also nice having a sales rep who you could speak to at any time. Eric called before I left which was really nice. When there was some confusion with our room I was also able to email him. The service we received was amazing and I would use DialAFlight for any future holidays.
Must be my 15th trip with DAF - thanks as always to Jenson and colleagues
Very helpful staff, would definitely use again.
Michelle and Morgan were great finding the best holiday for us, keeping us informed and speaking to us just before our holiday to offer more help if required!
Very professional and helpful
Brilliant as usual!
Terrific service - excellent advice - prompt response to any queries. Dexter has been an exemplary adviser with good suggestions. offering a perfect package to suit our needs.
Always tell friends how well you do and have recommended you to all we speak to.
Los Angeles airport was an absolute nightmare.
Most amazing trip ever! Thank you so much Garry - so glad we trusted your recommendations. The most perfect location
Continued fantastic support and guidance from Marshall. I've recommended DialAFlight to many of my friends
The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas is – like many hotels in the city – labyrinthine. It really is simply gigantic, with 3,026 rooms and suites and a 100,000-square-foot casino. There are myriad elevators and seemingly never-ending corridors and getting lost is not difficult.
A HOME AWAY FROM HOME
However, I discovered that it’s still remarkably homely. Our room, a ‘terrace studio’, was spacious and comfortable, with two plush queen-size beds
The hustle and bustle of Sin City was quickly forgotten and I felt quite reluctant to leave the room. The luxurious bathroom and its deep bathtub also had a magnetic effect.
Along with the terrace it’s here that I spent most of my time. It boasts a panoramic view of the Strip and overlooks the famous Bellagio fountains. Utterly mesmerising.
The hotel has plenty of other features that ensnared me – the 14 dining spots, for example.
These include award-winning Jaleo, the first Vegas location of David Chang's Momofuku restaurants, Masterchef judge Christina Tosi's milk bar and foodie fave Eggslut, which serves up wholesome egg sandwiches despite the rather risqué name.
We tried out two other restaurants in the city during our stay. Beauty & Essex is one of Manhattan's trendiest – and like the original, chef Chris Santos's first foray outside New York is entered through a pawn shop, leading to a gilded space with a 1920s Gatsby vibe.
The following evening, we headed to Estiatorio Milos. The Greek restaurant is known for serving the freshest seafood – and every morsel we tried was more-ish, yet seasoned simply with just olive oil, salt and pepper.
The restaurant's signature dish, the Milos Special, consists of delicious paper-thin zucchini and aubergine, fried and seasoned to crispy perfection. It's presented in a tower that is disassembled to reveal a serving of tzatziki.
WHERE TO DRINK
For drinks, the Chandelier is an Instagram-worthy bar spanning three stories and shrouded by a shimmering, beaded curtain of light.
We also called in at Rose.Rabbit. Lie, a modern supper club where we skipped the food and instead enjoyed cocktails and live entertainment.
Tucked away inside is The Study, which pays homage to the classic speakeasy and gives cocktail fanatics a more relaxing environment in which to unwind.
Then it was time to visit the hotel's exclusive nightclub - Marquee.
Entry is complimentary for hotel guests but it’s not for the faint of heart. You'll find some reprieve from the ear-splitting music and flashing lights outside by the pool.
The following day, we went back to Marquee to experience the Day Club - a raucous pool party that instantly reminded me of Spring Break shenanigans you'd see in a movie. If that's not your scene, don’t worry - it's not the only pool on offer.
BEYOND THE CASINO
The Boulevard Pool is the place to go to sunbathe in a social space while the Chelsea Pool offers more secluded havens.
And after a night and day at Marquee, I enjoyed a much-needed massage at the Sahra Spa. The signature treatment combines Thai, Swedish and Shiatsu techniques – and left me feeling invigorated.
Seeing the Strip from the air is definitely something to consider. We splashed out on Maverick Helicopters' most popular tour – the Wind Dancer. The flight took us on a thrilling ride over the city to one of the greatest natural wonders of the world – the Grand Canyon in Arizona.
I sat up front next to the friendly pilot, who pointed out incredible landmarks including Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam before we landed in the canyon. Once there we were treated to champagne and snacks.
On the journey back, we spotted incredible red rock formations and enjoyed an exhilarating flight over downtown Vegas and the Strip. Sadly, our thoroughly enjoyable weekend came to an end all too soon. We’d found so many ways to entertain ourselves at the Cosmo that that we didn’t even set foot in the Casino – so left with pockets not so light as they otherwise might have been!
