When our return flight arrangements were changed at the last minute, there was a chance we’d miss our connection back to London. Raj stepped in and sorted new flights to ensure we got home safely. We’ve used DialAFlight for many years due to their excellent service and great prices! Highly recommended!
Excellent communication from Hannah. Very impressed! Everything on our 4 flights worked well. Like the app too.
Marty was amazing, super efficient, professional and my trip was seamless. Thank you!
An awesome holiday thank you. Everything ran smoothly, the accommodation and activities were fabulous.
I needed to fly into one location and back from another and was struggling to do this myself. Leah was knowledgeable and helpful, giving me all the different options and helping me find the perfect flights. I was very impressed with the service
We had an amazing trip from start to finish. As soon as we arrived in Tanzania the whole trip was brilliantly ordered. Thank you Darryll!
Brilliant - will use again 100%
I had the wheelchair service all the way through which made my travel very comfortable and that's the reason I will always book my travels with you.
Great trip, thanks Tristan
Billy Gardner was in constant contact when our flights were delayed and cancelled. He ensured that alternative flights were organised so we made the connection for our safari! I previously thought I could make bookings myself more cheaply so I was pleasantly surprised when you actually came out at exactly the same cost and in some instances cheaper
Karl has been organising our trips for over 8 years and never disappoints. Really happy to have DialAFlight organising our travels.
Just excellent all round, many thanks
The hotel room we booked wasn’t the one given to us. But the hotel manager very kindly upgraded us
Very impressed how Stevi kept in touch personally and was proactive in sorting out an issue with one of our flights. Excellent customer service at a time when it is so often difficult to speak to a real person!
I was bumped from my pre-booked aisle seat from Addis to Manchester into the most uncomfortable window seat ever. Not DialAFlight fault. Also diabetic meals were poorest on any flight
Keep up the good work
Gino is always brilliant
Had a fantastic trip, thanks!
Great travel agents, phone always answered swiftly, help given with visas and check in for flights, excellent hotels, very good on the ground agents. All very high quality
Dennis was very helpful when we had a problem with a hotel
Thank you for looking after us
We should have been told that at major points of entry to Tanzania you can get a visa on arrival. Rather than the long procvess of getting an online visa.
It would have been helpful to get more information about the trek. We received some great info by Altezza - but only upon arrival.
Great service, thank you
Everything worked perfectly thank you
As always Theo my travel manager was always there for me right throughout my 19 days of travel through 4 countries. Thank you Theo
Dale was extremely helpful and friendly.
Brody was fabulous, really responsive and provided the personal touch.
Connection on outward journey a bit hairy,
Excellent service as always
1. Mix it up
Safaris work well with kids of all ages, but (especially without a smartphone or a tablet) they can get bored rather quickly these days. So vary up your trip with walks, kids’ activities and even horse rides in between game drives to keep each day feeling new. Poo tracking tends to be a popular choice with the little ones too.
2. Hit the beach
Mix things up even more by adding on a beach trip to your safari for the perfect accompaniment to what can be a busy schedule. Completely unwind and forget about itineraries for a few days to round off your trip somewhere kids can play and parents can relax.
3. Don’t be afraid to pay a little extra
We all like to save money where possible, but some areas of a safari experience are really worth paying that little bit more for. Your guides and vehicles for example, will make or break the highlight of your holiday and a private vehicle will ensure a more comfortable ride along the way.
4. Choose your accommodation wisely
There are many factors that come into play when choosing your camp or lodge, few more important than how suitable they are for kids. For instance, different camps offer different levels of discount for kids, making some of the seemingly more expensive camps actually cheaper for families. It’s also worth considering if you would require a larger family tent, or if you’d prefer a few separate ones.
5. There’s more to it than the Big Five
Plenty of safari-goers end up obsessing over lions and leopards, when there’s so much to enjoy and to learn too! Your guide can point out smaller creatures, plants and insects that can be just as interesting for kids and will help to stave off boredom whilst searching for more elusive animals.
6. Be prepared
There’s little worse than getting up early and setting off at the perfect time of day to be interrupted or to realise you’ve left something at the lodge. So make sure you bring your binoculars (plural – for easier sharing!) and your guide books to tick off what you’ve seen to keep everyone happy. And please make sure everyone’s been to the loo before you leave!
