You will see all the highlights of this beautiful country over six days and still have time to relax. As well as spectacular Petra, you will see Lawrence of Arabia's desert home at Wadi Rum, ruined Roman cities, Crusader castles, desert citadels and biblical sites. Time also to explore Jordan's capital Amman, a modern city full of surprises. All this, and the chance to chill out on the shores of the Dead Sea, the lowest spot of Earth.
Day 1
Arrive Amman
After touching down at Queen Alia International airport you will be met by one of our representatives who will help with customs and passport formalities before taking you to meet your private driver who will transfer you to your hotel in the capital city Amman. Day 4
Petra
Today you will visit the eighth wonder of the ancient world - the lost city of Petra, featured in the film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. This Rose Red city is Jordan's most valuable treasure and its greatest tourist attraction. It is a vast, unique city carved into the sheer rock face more than 2,000 years ago. Enter the city through the Siq, a narrow crack in the Nubian sandstone, then be prepared to have your breath taken away by what lies ahead. Overnight at Petra.

For many visitors Jordan begins and ends with the magical ancient Nabataean city of Petra. And it's true, the Rose Red City is without doubt one of the Middle East's most spectacular, unmissable sights, rivalling Machu Pichu or Angkor Wat for the title of the world's most dramatic 'lost city'. Yet there's so much more to see in Jordan - ruined Roman cities, Crusader castles, desert citadels and powerful biblical sites. And on this great seven day tour you will see them all. Jordan's capital Amman, where your tour begins, is a modern, culturally diverse Arab city and the country also offers great contrasts from the red desert sands of Wadi Rum to the brilliant blues of the coral-filled Gulf of Aqaba to the lifeless Dead Sea.
