From there you arrive at the falls where you get breathtaking views. You will be able to see the incomparable beauty of the falls from across a 1,200m path, with several balconies and a runway over the river up to the Devils Throat, where besides getting wet with the mist, you get the closest view of the greatest falls in South America. The upper trail is a series of bridges and platforms that take you across the Upper Iguassu River. The path goes deep into the jungle but suddenly opens out into a breathtaking amphitheatre of immense free-falling water. This is the Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat), the main fall, where more than 12,000 cubic meters of water cascade every second! Later enjoy another evening at leisure.
