After leaving Alice Springs you visit the Outback Camel Farm and pass Mount Conner before reaching stylish Ayers Rock Resort. In the afternoon drive out to the magnificent 36 domes of the Olgas and walk deep into Walpa Gorge. Then travel to the famous sunset strip and watch the sun go down over Ayers Rock while enjoying a free drink.
Ayers Rock, Mala Walk and Kings Canyon
Rise early and enjoy tea or coffee as the sun casts its first rays on Uluru, the Aboriginal name for Ayers Rock. Take a guided walk to Mutitjula Waterhole and tour the base of the rock or the adventurous can climb it. Visit the cultural centre and the Maruku Arts and Craft Co-operative or take an optional helicopter flight over the rock or a Harley Davidson tour around it. In the afternoon travel to Kings Canyon
Kings Canyon - Alice Springs
Today you can choose between two guided walks at majestic Kings Canyon, another great wonder of Australia's natural world. After your trek you continue your journey back to Alice Springs stopping on route at Kings Creek Cattle Station to get a real look at life in the Outback. Your tour ends back in Alice and you leave with a wealth of memories from Australia's stunning Red Centre.
