Overview
Combine a visit to one of the natural wonders of the world with an exciting safari. This adventure begins at Victoria Falls where you have three days to take in the stunning scenery before heading off for a safari at Mana Pools on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River in northern Zimbabwe, which is famous for its elephants, hippos, crocodiles and lions.
Day 1
Arrive Victoria Falls
On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport you are met by our representative for a private transfer to your hotel, the Ilala Lodge. Situated on the southern banks of the Zambezi River, Victoria Falls Town is a bustling and atmospheric place with plenty of bars, cafés and restaurants and traditional handicraft shops. The falls are easily accessible via walkways and a multitude of adventure activities can be booked locally. Tonight enjoy a two hour river cruise watching the sunset with drinks and canapes.

Day 2
Victoria Falls
After breakfast, you will be collected for a guided tour of the Falls - one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Walk through the magnificent rain forest where you are able to get up close to the largest falling sheet of water in the world. See David Livingstone's stature and a wide variety of birds and plants and explore the jungle around and walk across the famous bridge before returning to your hotel for an afternoon and evening at leisure.

Day 3
Victoria Falls
A full day to relax or do more exploring in this wonderful location. Return to the Falls and cool off in the spray and listen to the thunderous sound as the waters of the Zambezi plunge into the gorge. Today you can also take part in a multitude of activities available in the area. Choose anything from bungee jumping and white water rafting to elephant back safaris and the more serene of pursuits such as cultural and historical tours. And the famous Victoria Falls Hotel is a great place for tea.

Day 4
Victoria Falls to Mana Pools
After an early breakfast you are picked up and taken to the airport for the connecting flight to Mana Pools in Northern Zimbabwe. On arrival there you are met by a lodge representative and driven in a 4x4 open safari vehicle to Kanga Camp where a late brunch is served before a relaxing afternoon. Then enjoy high tea followed by an opportunity to go out on a game drive seeing lots of wildlife returning for dinner as the sun sets.

Day 5
Mana Pools
After an early breakfast go on a morning game drive. Return to the lodge for lunch then relax and enjoy the unspoilt sights and sounds around the camp's waterhole and have a refreshing dip in the lodges' splash pool which overlooks the Kanga pan, where abundant game can be viewed. After tea go out on another game drive seeing the animals at their most active. Then return to camp where you will have an opportunity to freshen up and have drinks before dinner under the stars.

Day 6
Depart Mana Pools
Maybe time to see more wildlife early this morning before you are driven from the lodge to the local airport for your flight back to Victoria Falls. Here you can stay on for a few days seeing more of the natural wonders in the area or take an onward flight and see more of Africa before returning home. This two centre trip is perfect for first time visitors or seasoned travellers and the wildlife adventures at Mana Pools will live long in the memory.
