Protected by lush mountain scenery, the idyllic beachfront location of Sofitel Moorea la Ora provides the perfect island escape from the outside world. A dip in the lovely pool, gazing out over the open blue sea, is not to be missed. But you can also have a go at snorkelling, kayaking, sea fishing, pedal boating, scuba diving or deep-sea diving. There’s also plenty to do on dry land, with horse-riding, quad biking, petanque and cycling all available. The hotel can also organise a tour of the island.
