The Luciano K is an architectural gem of a building in the heart of the gastronomic Lastarria quarter of Santiago, nestled in the main bohemian district and with many of the attractions of Santiago within easy reach.
Designed by Luciano Kulzewski in the 1920s. At the time the boutique hotel Luciano K was the highest building in the city, and the first with a lift and central heating. Nowadays it has the same cutting-edge high levels of comfort and technology as you would expect from a top international hotel. All 38 rooms have 40inch satellite TV, Bluetooth sound system, air con, Wi-Fi, mini bar and safe. Beds are dressed in the finest bed linen, while the en suite bathrooms have baths and showers, slippers, dressing gowns and hairdryers. There are work desks and hands free phones.
The Luciano has a roof top terrace where there is a spa, sauna, bar, heated swimming pool – and spectacular views over the Parque Forestal and Alameda Avenue. And if you can tear yourself away, j the hotel is just 10 minutes’ walk from Bellas Arles Museum Central Market, Municipal Theatre, Plaxa de Armas and Moneda Palace. The green swathe of the Parque Forestal is just opposite, and the Plaza Mulato Gil is just a short walk away.
The Lucian K offers a delicious menu of gourmet dishes in a delightful atmosphere, while there is a relaxing rooftop terrace, Terraza K, for drinks and tapas, and of course, a splendid view.
