Necker Island is Sir Richard Branson's private paradise in the British Virgin Islands. The island is spread over 74 acres surrounded by turquoise waters and coral reefs fringed with white sandy beaches. Necker is normally hired privately for up to 28 guests but, during selected 'Celebration Weeks' during the year, couples or singles can book individual rooms and share the island 'house party' style.
Set atop Devil's Hill at the heart of the island, The Great House has six stunning rooms and a spacious Junior Suite, all of which have a balcony. The jewel in the crown is the Master Suite, with its own Jacuzzi and private terrace with panoramic views over the ocean and neighbouring islands. There are also six unique Bali Houses, built on a cliff to maximise views and sea breezes, which share a plunge pool.
On Necker Island, you can do as much or as little as you like. Active types will love the opportunity to try kite-surfing, sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, kayaking and power-boating, as well as having a knock on the two tennis courts. Alternatively, you could just laze in a hammock or spend some time in the Bali Leha spa, which offers a range of treatments.
Prices at Necker Island are fully inclusive of all food and drinks, including fine wines and champagne. Guests can set the menu and mealtimes, when Michelin-trained chefs prepare dishes for all tastes. Dining can be formal or informal, indoors or outdoors, themed or traditional, beachside or poolside... even under the stars! Guests are welcome to ask for ideas or to suggest their own.
