Excellent sorting our hire car pick up out of hours in an out of the way backwater airport. If getting customers to Sydney airport for an early flight, completely unnecessary to get them there before 03.50 as passport/security not open until 04.00.

Nothing to do with yourselves, but I was flagged, frisked, and 'patted' down at Auckland and LA coming back. They said just random, but considering my age, surprising. LA stopover is horriffic, can't see the need for complete customs and security when returning to the same seat, same plane. Would certainly think again about going that way.
