You start this tour in the beautiful district of Liberdade, the largest Japanese community outside of Japan. It is adorned with traditional decorations and filled with great restaurants. Continue towards the Praca da Se in the downtown area and visit the majestic cathedral with its splendid windows, and then walk to the Pateo do Colegio where the city of Sao Paulo was founded.
A fascinating stop is then made at the Butanta snake farm, a world known institution where snakes are kept for poison extraction, which later is used as antidote against bites and tropical diseases. Then visit one of the most elegant areas of the city, the El Higienopolis district, and see the museum of precious Brazilian stones. After a barbecue lunch visit parks and more spectacular markets.
