Estancia Cristina Classic
The upside of Upsala
There is so much to see and do when visiting Argentina that it's tempting not to plan too many excursions or stray far from the magnificent buildings, lovely green parks, superb restaurants and great buzzing nightspots in the capital city Buenos Aires. But while there it is always worth doing something different and this full day trip out on the water makes for the perfect adventure.
You will be taken on a memorable voyage among the giant icebergs and stunning scenery overlooking the western front of the beautiful Upsala glacier and then through the Cristina Canal to the Estancia, where you leave your vessel. Then enjoy a guided walk up to Caterina River, visit the chapel and tour around the Estancia before sitting down to a delicious lunch.

Upsala & Spegazzini Glacier Express Cruise
Sail to the glaciers
You leave on this adventure from Punta Bandera and sail through the northern section of Lake Argentino to the Glacier Upsala where you spend around half an hour cruising along the glacier face
After going through the Devil’s Mouth, the narrowest sector of the lake which leads to the North Arm, the boat heads West. Meanwhile, the landscape turns into forests and high mountain tops with hanging glaciers. Finally enters the Spegazzini Channel where the highest glacier in the whole National Park lies. Its walls are 130 metres tall and it has a length of 25 km. The whole excursion lasts approximately 5 hours before the boats return to the port.
