Enjoy a day trip to the city of Las Palmas, Gran Canaria's largest commercial centre, where you'll find all the major chain and franchise stores, both Spanish and international. Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the capital, is located in the north-eastern part of the island set in a magnificent scenery composed of two bays and their beautiful beaches - Playa de las Canteras and Playa de las Alcaravaneras.

After leaving the south of the island you drive straight to Las Palmas. The first stop is in Vegueta, the old part of the city, where you can visit the cathedral, town hall, episcopal palace, Colombus Museum, Perez Galdos theatre and the market. Then after more stops head to Santa Catalina Square where you will have free time to have lunch, a walk on the beach of Las Canteras before hitting the shops.
