We were caught by the Saturday chaos at Heathrow which meant a 5 - 6 hour wait at Marseille before they sent a Jumbo out to take two loads home. Have just recommended you to a nephew!

Thankyou very much for the recommendation to take out insurance to cover the large excess on the car rental. We did have a small knock and the added insurance saved us £300. Much appreciated.
Everything worked very smoothly with the exception of the Avis Car hire at Marseilles. It took nearly an hour in searing heat to get our car! However, the deal you did with them on the car itself was amazing. It was a Ford Kuga and it was a joy to drive with plenty of room for the 4 of us and all our luggage. The car seat offered by Avis was one for a child aged between 1 and 4 years old so we had to make do with a booster.
It would be helpful to get email confirmation direct from the hotel to confirm parking had been reserved.

We had a very enjoyable stay in the Luberon in Provence, only marred by a French air traffic controllers go slow in Marseilles, which led to a five hour delay on our return flight. One of the perennial hazards of travelling to France!
Very helpful including follow up just before the flight. I was not happy with Brussels Airline though as they lost my luggage and were not easy to deal with over its recovery.
