This tour offers Grenada's Grenadine islands to you! The Ferry leaves Grenada daily and takes just over an hour to get to Carriacou, the largest of the Grenadine islands, or you can choose to take the 20min flight to Carriacou from Grenada and have a birds eye view. On this tour, you will learn about Carriacou’s unique culture, the African Big Drum Dance, Maroon and Stringband Music Festival, Christmas parang music and the Arawak Indians.

Lunch is at Jerk Station or Paradise Beach Club before enjoying a swim and snorkelling in the crystal clear sea water where sea urchins, darting fish, colourful coral & wavering sea fans await discovery. Caribbean Horizons have teamed up with the Goat Project at Belmont estate to design this tour which is perfect for families on holiday in Grenada. Take the children along to visit the habitat of the endangered and endemic Grenada Dove and have an introduction to birdwatching while observing migrant birds at a viewing platform, then you visit a petting zoo and can interact with a variety of native animals.

Today you will see Orange Winged Amazon Parrot, Mona Monkey, Iguanas and lots more exotic creatures. The highlight of the tour is the introduction to goat hearding and tasting of chocolate desert. Meals with kids in mind are available too. Last stop is Grand Etang lake to feed the fish which include giant koi. You will also have an opportunity to interact over tea or drinks with owners of two of the gardens and learn how they work towards supplying flowers and foliage for our own Chelsea Flower Show.

Each Grenada garden is chosen for a specific highlight that they exhibit - lush and rambling jungle gardens contrasted with colourful, manicured, landscaped gardens. The owners will share their experiences with you and tell you all about how to grow lots of the exotic plants. On this half day tour of Grenada you will enjoy the breathtaking views of the old capital St.George's and the winding route of the scenic west coast when you stop at a waterfall, a spice inspired workshop and the fishing town of Gouyave. You also visit the Gouyave Nutmeg Station, Nutmeg Museum – in Victoria St. Marks and drive through the aromatic spice plantations.

By the time the tour is over you will be an expert on Grenada's spices. You will also be taken 1,900 feet above sea level to the lush Grand Etang Forest Reserve, Crater Lake and Nature Centre, in the heart of the island's rainforest.
