1 The Cliff

Seaside sophistication

Arguably Barbados's most famous restaurant, as well as one of its most upscale and exclusive, The Cliff is set right on the beachfront in St James, with all the tables offering stunning Caribbean views. Chef Matt Worswick, who earned his first Michelin star at the age of just 26, serves up an impressive menu of refined international cuisine, and there's also a sushi bar offering both traditional and modern dishes.

2 QP Bistro

Beachfront bistro

Seasonal, local produce is the order of the day at Speightstown's Local & Co, with the daily-changing menu determined by what the local farmers have available and what the chefs have gathered and preserved in-house through the seasons. Expect plenty of locally-caught seafood, as well as signature dishes such as rum-glazed pork belly, and vegetarians and vegans are well catered-for too.
