Georgetown, the capital of Penang and named after King George III of England, is an interesting blend of old and new and is listed by UNESCO as a world heritage city. It has a great range of arts and culture and is definitely not a place to miss when visiting the island of Penang. On this tour you stop first at the famous Golden reclining Bhudda, which is one of the largest in Asia.

This is followed by a visit to the heritage zone and it's many photo opportunities including Fort Cornwallis and the famous Clan Jetty where houses are built on stilts over the water and still occupied today. Then take a slow drive along the famous Street of Harmony to see local street life and the many houses of worship.
