The local Digo community has formed Kaya Kinondo Ecotourism project that offers controlled access into this pristine and untouched forest, which is still used for rituals and sacrificial offerings by the Digo tribe.

On a walk through the forest, which forms a rich ecosystem with 187 species of plants, some of which are rare, you will see monkeys, dik-diks and elephants and visit Kinondo Village to interact with the locals and meet the medicine man. Kaya Kinondo ecotourism project is an initiative by the community in promoting conservation and sustainable development. Then return to your hotel in time for lunch.
