From hikes and biking trails to surfing and rollerblading, there are endless activities to take part in across this city. Experience the city from up high on the Mishe Mokwa Trail, arguably the best hiking route in LA, and explore the Santa Monica Mountains and Sandston Peak on this 6 mile trail, taking in the breathtaking views of the city below.
Join the locals in a Yoga class on one of the beaches of Los Angeles - you’ll find them taking place all over the city and they’re guaranteed to leave you feeling much more relaxed. Take it to one of the beach-side restaurants afterwards to reflect on your day over fresh seafood and a tall glass of Californian orange juice.
For something more thrilling sign up for surfing lessons at one of the many great surf beaches. The best beaches to learn at are Santa Monica, Santa Barbra and Manhattan Beach, although you’ll find classes elsewhere too, and these are a great way to keep fit on holiday and learn to ride the great ocean waves.
In the evening head to Venice Beach for high energy and exceptional entertainment. A simple stroll down Venice Boardwalk any day of the week is packed with entertainment but the strip comes to life on Sundays, when you’ll find the best impromptu performances occurring up and down this beautiful Californian beachfront.
