The KLM staff are very rude and I will be filing a complaint against them.

Newark airport was a revelation. Much nicer than JFK, less crowded, friendly staff. Quick transit through controls and customs. Excellent rail connections via Penn station NY to everywhere.

Great service. Always someone helpful at the end of a phone if needed. We had to change our plans at one point but that was no problem and was dealt with seamlessly. Many thanks.

I booked our flights through Davina who was the most helpful person ever. It was the best service I've ever had. A big thanks and I'll always book through DialAFlight now.

I've never organised a long haul flight before and it took the pressure off. Also having someone recommend a hotel was helpful.

Performance of DialAFlight was good - clear information, good advice and trimely information. Kuwait Airways was less good and advice about this and alternatives would have been useful. Flights out and return were delayed and none of the screens worked or looked as though they had done so for a while.

Everything you need to know about New York

Our top 10 restaurants in New York Our top 10 hottest bars in New York?

Why is New York so popular? Five reasons to go there

1. It's NYC. Take flights to New York and visit the one and only big Apple. It's seen it all: melting pot immigration, colossal disasters, financial meltdowns, Central Park demonstrations. And guess what? It's still there, brash and proud. After all, this is the city that makes the world go round and its inhabitants, the surprisingly friendly New Yorkers, have that ever-onward spirit of Londoners in the Blitz.   2. It's a restaurant. Puckish? Hungry? Starving? This is the city with more than 20,000 restaurants. From world-class eateries that boast more Michelin stars than the night sky to family-run hot dog stands on Wall Street, there's a bite for every budget. Each one has its own character and the service comes American style: generous portions and that 'Have a Nice Day' attitude.   3. It's shopping crazy. Macy's, Bloomingdales, Sachs Fifth Avenue. If you're a workaholic, you'll be getting a mega dose of designer labels in the 10,000 plus stores in New York. If you can't coincide your trip with the January Sales, don't fret, because bargains are on shelves year round. Be sure to check the net for comparative pricing. You'll save fortunes on items like pads and Levis.  4. It's cultural. History buffs, art lovers and cultural aficionados can feast on the 150 world-class museums. The Guggenheim Museum is just one of the more famous spots but venture into SoHo and the other downtown districts for a myriad of smaller undiscovered artists. Plus it's not only American iconography. New Yorkers speak 80 wisecracking languages.   5. It's romantic. They've made more than one movie about loved-up couples on top of the Empire State Building. Even King Kong pulled his girl! But there's plenty of other places to declare your love. A walk in Central Park, a rooftop lounge in a boutique hotel, Grand Central Station, even over roast duck in China Town!  Call us today to travel from the UK to New York State and to tailor-make your holiday down under. Don't forget to check out the price of our business class flights too. We can also help with hotels, car hire and a host of extras.
