Sitting in the airport at Auckland airport for several hours awaiting the last flight out that day at 01.05 am was not fun. Maybe pointing out that fact would have made us choose a different day to come home.

Information about transfers from airport to hotels would be useful. Thank you for organising a truly great holiday. So impressed I've named my car after you Hugo.

Some of the Cathay Pacific stewarding was a bit haphazard and sloppy, particularly on the Auckland -Hong Kong legs. But the price was right and I ate at the excellent Walkin Lounge at Hong Kong airport both ways - not much more expensive and much more comfortable than eating on the concourse.

All went very smoothly. Emirates were punctual and friendly. Britz campervan hire were also friendly and amenable. The only problem was that the campervan was susceptible to windy conditions and got blown about somewhat. It was the holiday of a lifetime.

I have been dealing with Darryll for many years now. He is excellent and always delivers. I recommend DialAFlight to family and friends all the time, suggesting they contact Darryll. There was a slight problem 24 hours before our trip to NZ, when, due to airline, our connection was too close and I was not allowed to check in online. I rang Darryll and he sorted it in a matter of minutes, therefore, giving us a stress free journey.

Everything you need to know about Auckland

What makes Auckland special? 5 reasons to visit

1. It's Auckland. This city has it all and now you have cheap flights to Auckland too. Lush subtropical forests of hills and islands, two oceans, a modern metropolis and the brightest nightlife in the country await. You can also mingle with a cosmopolitan crowd of over a million Kiwis in the country's biggest city. And with the largest concentration of Polynesians in the world, you can expect an extra-special welcome.   2. It's the City of Sails. This aquatic jewel boasts more boats per capita than any other city. Even Monte Carlo. And you don't just marvel at them from the quayside. Race on an actual America's Cup yacht. Go white-knuckle power boating for a quick tour of the city's offshore sights. Check out the fishies through a glass bottom boat. Whatever you do, set sail, mate!  3. It's buzzing. Landlubbers lub it too! Auckland is packed with the country's major cultural sights, including galleries, museums and Maori cultural centres. There's also an exquisite wining, dining and dance-floor shining scene. And if you survive the hangovers, you can climb Maungawhau or, if not, laze on a beach or visit an island.   4. It's volcanic. Don't worry, we're talking ancient history here. What you'll see is the city's distinct topography, with ridges of lava flows forming its peaks and troughs and its many volcanic cones dotting the suburbs with islands of green.  5. It's a gateway. You've come this far. You may as well see the rest of the country. Let us help you with great value car hire to explore the sights and sounds of New Zealand's North and South islands. If it looked good on a Lord of the Rings movie screen, imagine how amazing it is in real life!  Call us today to book your flights to New Zealand and to tailor-make your holiday. Don't forget to check out the price of our business class flights too. We can also help with hotels, car hire and a host of extras.
