Fun, sun & smiles in Florida: Kids go free!

Florida is the ultimate family holiday destination! Home to some of the world’s best theme parks as well as a huge variety of colourful wildlife and sandy beaches constantly soaked in sun.

From Disney World and Universal Studios to the Everglades and Busch gardens, no family could ever get bored in Florida. However, with so much to do it’s easy to miss out on some of the best attractions, so we thought break down the best of Florida for you. So grab your sun cream and join us and we explore family-friendly Florida!

Theme parks
Disney

You can’t mention Florida without talking about its many out-of-this-world theme parks. Book a stay at the four star Doubletree Orlando at SeaWorld with us and take up to two kids for free when sharing with two adults!
Disneyworld

You’ll be right in the heart of Orlando’s favourite animal-themed park, home to heart-racing rides and jaw-dropping marine life shows featuring whales, seals many other sea dwelling creatures. The Doubletree is also conveniently close to Florida’s many other popular theme parks, with shuttle services to Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando running regularly throughout the day from the hotel.
Epcot

Treat your family to the ultimate Disney themed holiday and visit all that Disney World has to offer. From its studios, magical kingdom and animal kingdom, to its many water parks and of course Epcot, the only thing you’ll have to worry about is running out of time at these four Disney themed worlds in Orlando!
Busch Gardens

If animated fun isn’t for you then a trip to Busch gardens could be the perfect alternative. This African-themed animal park in Tampa has it all – exotic animals, adrenaline-pumping rides and tropical landscapes, as well as great music events and festivals that take place at Busch gardens throughout the year.
Hogwarts

Finally, fans of the English wizard with a lighting scar on his forehead will be happy to hear that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is fully open and filled with wonderful rides, attraction and tours all based on the successful book and film franchise. Sip butter beer on Diagon Alley before attending potions class and have the ride of your life at Gringots Bank all at this Potter themed world which is part of the Universal Orlando Resort in fantastic Florida.

Beautiful Beaches
Beach

Of course, there’s much to do in Florida aside from the theme parks, and the balmy beaches in the Sunshine State draw in hundreds of thousands every year. Famous for its many micro islands and the popular keys, Florida’s beaches are some of the best in the Unites States.
Key West

Siesta Beach is the ideal sandy destination, surrounded by warm, clear waters and drenched in sun. Found on Siesta Key, a barrier island situated between Roberts Bay and the Gulf or Mexico, many would argue that if you had to visit just one beach while in Florida it should be Siesta Beach.
Family

For great views and luxury, a stay on Marco Island will not disappoint. You’ll find excellent restaurants, pristine beaches and wonderful hotels and villas on this island but be sure to steer clear of Marco Island between June and October, as that is when it is in its wet season.
Siesta Beach

Breezy and beautiful Captiva Island in southwest Florida is a great alternative beach destination. Thought to have been a favourite with pirates, this island has a history that will excite the whole family and beaches that are just perfect for unwinding and soaking up the Florida sun.
