Enjoy the best of one of Royal Caribbean’s favourite ships the Harmony of the Seas on this great seven night cruise around the western Mediterranean. Whether you’re a fun seeking family or a couple looking for the perfect getaway, you’ll find the very best of cruising here. Watch robots mix your cocktail at the incredible Bionic Bar and delight your taste buds with an amazing choice of dining experiences as you sail from Barcelona and back on this state of the art ship calling at Majorca, Marseille, Florence, Pisa, Rome and Naples and enjoying one full day at sea.
You board the Harmony of the Seas in Barcelona with plenty of time to explore this great city before setting sail. Vying for your attention in Catalonia’s visually stunning capital are the magnificent medieval buildings of the lively Gothic quarter and the exotic creations of architect Antoni Gaudi - the Sagrada Familia Temple and Parc Güell, to name just a few. Check out the shops along Las Ramblas and stroll around some of the beautiful parks.
Your first stop on the cruise is Palma, capital of the holiday island of Majorca, which you can explore on your own or on one of a number of organised tours. The circular white battlements of Bellver Castle sit on a hill overlooking the towering gothic cathedral, a wonder that took 400 years to build, and is one of the highlights of the old town. Majorca is also a great place to buy man-made pearls and you could also spend your day here at one of the lovely beaches.
Another day, another country, when the Harmony of the Seas docks at the French port city of Marseille, which is one of the most visited cities in the country. There are lots of museums and galleries, along with ancient buildings of historical interest. And along the coast, cycling tracks veer around sunny coves and sandy beaches. Well worth taking a tour today along the stunning coast.
Two great options today when you dock at Livorno in Italy, with tours to either Florence or Pisa. See all the famous sights in Florence on an organised tour including the Uffizi Gallery, the Duomo and the Statue of David or head to Pisa for a look at the leaning tower. Or if you want to stay closer to the ship enjoy La Spezia's spectacular collection of cathedrals and the art-nouveau-style villas.
Another fantastic day when the Harmony of the Seas arrives at Civitavecchia, port city of Rome. Spend a memorable time in the Eternal City following the footsteps of the gladiators at the Coliseum, visiting the Vatican and seeing the amazing Sistene Chaple, walking around St Peter's Cathedral and down the Spanish Steps and throwing a coin in the Trevi Fountain. Today you will see hidden piazzas, opulent baroque churches and classical ruins at every turn.
You’re spoiled for choice in the city that invented the pizza. Embark on a trip to Mount Vesuvius for mind-blowing views over the Bay of Naples, before descending to the fascinating buried town of Pompeii. Board a boat for romantic Capri and see the famous Blue Grotto, or enjoy a scenic day trip to Positano and Sorrento driving along the stunning Amalfi coast.
Your one and only full day at sea on the cruise and a good time to make the most of all that this great modern liner has to offer. A cruising day gives you the chance to explore all the amazing activities, including doing nothing at all. Relax in the Spa, take in a show at the theatre, or experience any of the incredible dining venues. There's so much to do the difficulty will be choosing between the entertainments.
Today your short but eventful cruise around the Western Mediterranean ends where it began when the Harmony of the Seas arrives back at Barcelona. Say farewell to new found friends and take time to explore more of this great city, possibly staying on for a few days, before heading to the airport to catch your flight back home.
