But whatever else this city is, it’s popular. Statistics show Munich is enticing more visitors than ever and you will find out just why on this short but fun tour.
Welcome to Munich. On arrival at either the airport or main train station you will be met by one of our tour representatives and taken to your hotel. The rest of the day and evening is free for you to explore on your own, possibly taking a walk through the city seeing some of the famous sights. Then relax at the end of the day in your hotel for you will be doing lots of sightseeing over the next two days. Tonight try one of the nearby restaurants or visit a lively bar.
After your breakfast you start your sightseeing tour in Munich with your own private guide. You will explore all aspects of the Bavarian capital on this extensive tour passing along the places of interest like the Cathedral Church of Our Lady, St. Peter´s, the New Town Hall, Viktualienmarkt, Marienplatz, Karlsplatz, Palace Nymphenburg, Olympia Park, and lots more. After the tour there's time for shopping and in the evening drop into one of the atmospheric beer halls or restaurants that the city is famous for.
You've seen the pictures, now see the real thing! After breakfast you are taken on a full day excursion to the Royal Bavarian Castle of Neuschwanstein, one of the most popular of all the palaces and castles in Europe. Tour the castle of the fairytale King Ludwig II of Bavaria which is hidden in the mountains. King Ludwig II built two dream castles, Neuschwanstein and Linderhof, and you will see both of them on this trip. After visiting the two amazing castles you stop for shopping in Oberammergau.
Today your short but action-packed tour of this great German city comes to an end. Maybe time for some more sightseeing or some last minute shopping, a farewell beer or some last minute shopping for souvenirs before you are picked up from your hotel and driven to the airport or train station to continue your holiday in Germany or catch a plane or train back home.
