This seven-day tour of the beautiful country of Zimbabwe takes in the astonishing Victoria Falls, the world's largest sheet of falling water, before continuing to Chobe National Park and Okavango Delta, where you can expect to see a huge range of wildlife, including elephants, lions and crocodiles.
You'll be met on arrival at Livingstone Airport and transferred to your hotel. After check in, you will have the afternoon at leisure to enjoy a light lunch, take a refreshing dip in the pool and enjoy the views of the lush African bush and the landscaped gardens. Later this afternoon you'll take a scenic sunset cruise along the Zambezi River, with drinks and snacks served on board. You'll return to the hotel in time for dinner.
After breakfast this morning you'll take a guided tour of the stunning Victoria Falls to learn more about how they were formed and about the local customs and traditions surrounding them, as well as to enjoy the breathtaking views. Afterwards you'll return to the hotel, and for the remainder of the day you're free to choose from a wide range of activities including bungee jumping, white-water rafting, elephant-back safaris and cultural tours.
After breakfast this morning you'll transfer to Botswana and Chobe Safari Lodge, arriving in time for lunch. Chobe is a National Park famed for its enormous herds of elephant and buffalo, as well as lions and crocodiles. This afternoon you'll enjoy a game drive, either in an open-sided 4x4 vehicle or by boat on the Chobe River.
You'll head out for a guided game drive early this morning to watch the animals waking up, returning to the camp for breakfast. You'll have the rest of the day at leisure to join in an array of activities, including walking and bird-watching safaris, relaxing at the spa, or just hanging out by the swimming pool. After lunch, you'll take a boat cruise to spot the elephants, hippos, crocodiles and water birds in and alongside the river. This evening's dinner will be a delicious buffet of exotic game meats, roasts, barbeques, stir fries and vegetarian dishes.
After another early-morning game drive and breakfast, today you'll transfer back to Kasane Airport for a light-aircraft flight to Pom Pom Camp, in the heart of the Okavango Delta. A UNESCO World Heritage site, the Okavango Delta is a wetland that supports a huge variety of wildlife. Pom Pom Camp is situated on a private concession in the heart of the Delta, and offers superb Okavango scenery. You'll enjoy a high tea before departing for an afternoon game drive, followed by sundowners in a scenic location before returning to the lodge for pre-dinner drinks and dinner.
Today begins with early-morning tea or coffee and a light breakfast before your morning activity, which will be either a 4x4 open-vehicle game drive, a canoe safari, a boat cruise or a guided walk. Afterwards, you'll return to the lodge to freshen up before brunch, and will then have some time to relax. Later in the afternoon, you'll enjoy a high tea before departing on an afternoon game drive with sundowners in a scenic location. You'll then return to the lodge for dinner and drinks.
After this morning's game drive and breakfast, you will be escorted to your awaiting shared light aircraft and transferred to Maun Airport, where you will be assisted with the check-in for your onward flight.
