Hyatt Grand Central Hotel New York check in was a nightmare because of lack of staff but then great. BA ‘Cattle Class’ was dreadful with average/minus food.
Billy Gardiner was excellent - he gave us a great deal, communicated with us throughout and offered excellent advice

Service expectations were high but your performance was truly exceptional including:
- Extra legroom emergency row plane seats.
- Quiet hotel room furthest from v noisy NYC street.
- Very speedy recompense of cancelled flight refund.
- Speedy and efficient answering of office phones
Overall my experience with you was very good.
The only downside was the lack of facilities in the hotel. No tea/coffee making and no restaurant until lunchtime. I asked if I could have a chair in my room but couldn’t.

Hotel Hugo was nice, but they added on $40 'service charge' a day. We were not told about the charge until we were leaving and there was no choice whether to pay it or not. It really is a cheek because it should just be added to the cost of the room … acting a little bit like easyJet?
