Location

Slap bang in the city centre on Hindley Street, the elegant four-star Grand Chancellor Hindley is a luxurious yet relaxed base from which to explore Adelaide’s many attractions. With excellent meeting facilities and only a short walk from the Central Business District, the Grand Chancellor is ideal for business trips, while Adelaide’s extensive shopping, dining and nightlife opportunities are on the doorstep, and beautiful beaches just a tram ride away. It’s the perfect dual-purpose destination.

Rooms

The Grand Chancellor’s 208 rooms and suites are designed to be a restful retreat from the bustling city outside. Decorated in attractive colours and contemporary furnishings with modern marble bathrooms, all the rooms and suites feature windows that open, allowing fresh air and natural light into the rooms. For longer stays, Deluxe suites offer a separate bedroom and open-plan living area, plus a kitchenette with microwave and toaster, and up on the top floor, the newly refurbished Executive rooms have king-size beds and stunning views over Adelaide.

Activities

With a fully equipped gym, outdoor pool and sauna all open from 6am-10pm, there’s no excuse for letting your exercise routine go while you’re away. The hotel is fully equipped to host any occasion, from business conferences and banquets to weddings. But beyond the hotel walls, the city of Adelaide offers all kinds of urban and rural pursuits. There are great restaurants, a lively nightlife, art galleries, museums, Adelaide Zoo and of course Adelaide Oval. The Barossa Valley wineries are only a short drive away, and if that’s not enough, you can go and hang out with the dolphins at Glenelg beach, a short tram ride away.

Dining

Bistro Sixty5 is open for a hearty breakfast buffet in the morning, and an extensive dinner menu in the evening, with everything from oysters and steaks to pizza and burgers on offer, and there’s a good selection of South Australian wines. The bistro is open to all, so you’ll get a chance to mingle with locals too. Likewise Sebastyan’s Bar is a popular after-work watering hole, as well as a hot night spot for Adelaide’s in-crowd.
