Manaus to Anavilhanas
Your exciting four day trip begins when you are picked up at your hotel in Manaus and taken by road to the lodge. After a welcome drink you can settle in to your comfortable room and explore the area before lunch. Later you will be taken on a boat tour of the archipelago and after dinner there will be an alligator spotting trip. At night the lodge is tastefully lit and has a relaxing atmosphere.
Jungle hike and lodge activities
The 16 simple yet comfortable rooms are adorned with beautiful regional arts and crafts and are equipped with air conditioning, mini bar, bathroom with hot shower and a private balcony with hammock. Today after breakfast you are taken on a jungle hike returning for lunch. In the afternoon go out on the river to feed the pink dolphins then visit a craft shop in Novo Airao. Dinner at the lodge.
Rise early and go out on a guided bird watching trip by canoe before breakfast. Later in the morning go back on the river for some fun piranha fishing. After lunch there is an organised visit to the Tiririca's Community to see their colourful costumes. Back to the lodge for another delicious dinner. The food is definitely one of the highlights and you can enjoy the best in Amazonian and international cuisine.
Anavilhanas to Manaus
At the lodge there is a small swimming pool with great views of the stunning surrounding landscape and river. The main area has an intimate bar, a TV with a selection of DVDs, many books, pool table, and sundeck. After relaxing today you are taken on a canoe trip through the creeks and flooded forests returning for lunch. Later you are picked up and taken back to Manaus where the tour comes to an end.
