The four-star Hotel Zeppelin is a fashionable boutique hotel with a quirky hip décor that celebrates the city’s counterculture tradition. It offers a central location in the city’s Theatre District, also known as Nob Hill, just two blocks from Union Square and a short walk from the nearest cable car stop. To get here from the international airport, it’s a 30-minute drive.
Each of the rooms are individually designed, mixing modern and bohemian styles, such as vintage turntables, vinyl records and funky artwork, with designer desks, king beds with crisp white linens, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, minibars and coffeemakers. Suites have a living room, while some feature distinctive touches such as fireplaces, kitchenettes and/or outdoor decks.
A Stay at the Zeppelin puts you close to the shops, bars, restaurants and attractions of Union Square and theatre land. Other notable sights include Haight Ashbury and North Beach.
There are two eateries at the Hotel Zeppelin. The hotel’s all-day restaurant and bar, The Rambler, is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and late-night drinks. Foodwise, it serves Californian dishes made with local ingredients where possible, such as small plates, wood-fired pizzas and hearty main courses. For a hot drink, head to The Fireside, also open for evening cocktails.
