Royal Davui Island is an exclusive retreat where a privileged few enjoy the peace of a secluded island sanctuary in complete luxury and comfort. With 16 exquisitely appointed Vales (the Fijian word for Home) nestled into the landscape, the resort offers a maximum of 16 couples unparalleled privacy and relaxation and yet is easily accessible from the mainland.
The 16 exquisitely appointed Vale at Royal Davui Island offer views of the stunning Beqa Lagoon. There are nine award-winning Deluxe Vale on the eastern and southern sides of the island, with air conditioning, tropical décor, separate living room and bedroom, and a private plunge pool. Sitting at angles on the western and eastern coasts, six Premium Vale offer the same amenities but take pole position, while the Davui Suite has a private indoor garden and is set over two levels.
A range of complementary activities are on offer at Royal Davui Island, from catamaran sailing, snorkelling and kayaking to hiking, volleyball and croquet, as well as swimming in the stunning blue sea or the pool. Guests can also visit local villages and attend a church service, or take a trip to the mainland for shopping. That's not forgetting the amazing dive sites around the island, and the wonderfully relaxing spa within the resort.
Menus at Royal Davui are designed daily using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Seafood plays a large part in the Fijian diet, so guests will find fish on offer at the main restaurant at the heart of the resort, the Banyan Restaurant and Bar, set under an enormous Banyan tree. Meals are also served course-by-course on the decking of your Vale, and at a selection of private areas throughout the resort.
