You’ll find the beautiful and stylish 5-star Casa Andina Private Collection just 25 minutes from the international airport, and a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas in Arequipa. It’s set within a national historic building made of volcanic stone called the Casa de la Moneda which means ‘old Mint’, and it dates back as far as 1794. It’s the perfect choice if you enjoy staying in buildings with a distinct history and a story to tell, and amid designer surroundings.
There are 40 rooms in total. Two senior suites and one imperial suite are located in the old colonial building, while superior rooms and standard suites are spread across four floors of a new wing of the hotel which overlooks the colonial courtyard and has been decorated elegantly.
